Samsung has unveiled its SmartThings Wi-Fi mesh router that would solve the buffering problems of consumers.
The brand-new device has AI-based mesh Wi-Fi technology from Plume, a maker of Wi-Fi mesh systems. It promises to provide anyone's home with astonishingly fast internet connection. The routers belong to the company's SmartThings line.

The router can be controlled by its users in an app that is available for both Android and iOS. Once it is set up, people can check out the app to know the stats of their Wi-Fi connection and manage other smart home devices, including products that are part of Samsung's SmartThings line.
"SmartThings Wi-Fi is an intelligent solution that adapts to the many devices in the home, with mesh capability to eliminate coverage gaps plus a built-in SmartThings Hub to easily monitor and control hundreds of compatible smart products," said SK Kim, senior director, IoT Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America.
The routers go up to the speed of 400 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and an amazing 866 Mbps on the 5GHz band. It can also support wireless communication protocols that are usually used by smart home products such as Bluetooth 4.1 Zigbee and Z-Wave.
People can expect that this will revolutionize their internet speed. The device is recommended for people who want to manage their smart home devices easily.
