You could be the owner of the most popular car featured on television, that is if you have over $1 million. The Ferrari Testarossa that was driven by Sonny Crockett in the '80s hit TV show Miami Vice is now listed on eBay for $1.75 million.
Miami Vice initially used a replica car when the show first started, but Ferrari then donated two authentic cars. While the replica car was destroyed, the 1986 white stunt car, with 16,000 miles on it, is now up for auction.
The Ferrari Testarossa was the fastest car back in the good ole days. It went from zero to 100 real quick 60 mph in just 5.2 sections, reaching the top speed of 180 mph.
Those interested should get on eBay quickly since bidding ends on January 7. Thinking no one will really buy this car? Think again because there are over 600 people "watching" the item.
Those who are willing to shell out major bucks for the Ferrari Testarossa will have to pay $500 immediately on eBay through its "Buy It Now" feature. If a Miami Vice fan doesn't buy the car now, then the car will go to the highest bidder.
And don't worry if you have doubts that the sports car is authentic. The car comes with all proper documents to prove its authenticity including the paper work that dates the day it was delivered to Universal Studios. The white sports car with leather seats also comes with the Miami Vice VIN plate.
Florida resident Danny Lima currently owns the Ferrari, but other famous Testarossa owners include Elton John and famous racing car driver Gerhard Berger.
The car is valued at approximately $89,000, the same price it was listed for in the '80s.
