The 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo is a few weeks away, and the announcements about conference exhibitors continue to roll out.
Square Enix Presents
One video game developer that will be hosting an event at the 2018 E3 Conference is Square Enix. On Tuesday, May 8, Square Enix posted a Save the Date tweet that announced their special presentation. The pre-recorded event will take place on Monday, June 11 at 10 a.m. PDT/ 1 p.m. EDT. The video conference will be streamed on Facebook, Mixer, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube. The presentation would also be in both English and Japanese. Unfortunately, Square Enix did not comment on which games would be showcased.

Square Enix admirers took to Twitter to express their excitement regarding Square Enix's return to the E3 Conference. Several users posted many GIFS and images to convey their curiosity about the material that the video game developer might cover during the presentation. Fans hoped that they could announce eagerly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III. Others expected for news about an upcoming collaboration with Marvel that would highlight the Avengers or Life is Strange 2.

The Internet Speculates
The guessing game hit numerous media outlets across the internet. IGN believed that the video game company might speak about Shadow of the Tomb Raider at the conference. GameSpot pointed out that Square Enix could mention Left Alive, which is a part of the Front Mission universe. The video game site stated that Left Alive is between Front Mission 5 and Front Mission Evolved. Polygon hoped that Square Enix would give an update about a possible Final Fantasy VII remake.
Piecing Together The E3 Floor
While E3 has not released the floor layout of this year's conference, ResetEra forum user Rosti was able to piece together information from both E3's event planning and marketing partners and attending visitors. The E3 Conference will occupy the Los Angeles Convention Center's West, Concourse, and South Halls. Rosti predicted that both Sony and Nintendo would be in West Hall. He also believed that the South Hall could feature eSports matches and other companies such as Activision, Capcom, Epic Games, and Ubisoft.
Tech Times reached out to Square Enix for a comment on this story. The company declined to comment.
