Guadagnino's transformation is so impressive that he has decided to spread the word by creating an Instagram account called the Keto Guido.

Those that follow the 30-year-old Staten Island native know that he continuously shares videos of his workouts as well as his meals of the day, which mostly include meat and vegetables.

In March, just weeks before the premiere of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Guadagnino shared a shirtless photo of himself on his Keto Guido Instagram account, in which he wrote a lengthy caption revealing his new food choices and the reason for starting the new Instagram account.

The MTV star stated that he lost a lot of weight after he stopped eating sugars and grains and opted for foods such as whole eggs, bacon, fatty fish, and plants and began to work out a few times a week.

The Ketogenic Diet

Although Guadagnino is praising the keto diet for his transformation, he isn't the first celebrity to do so. Famous celebrities such as Halle Berry and Kourtney Kardashian have all expressed their love for the diet plan.

Celebrities more than likely appreciate the regimen because it minimizes carbohydrates and includes more fats. Once an individuals body has become accustomed to the diet, their body will go into ketosis. This means that the body does not have enough carbohydrates to use for energy, so instead, it creates ketones and begins to burn fat instead.

The keto diet was originally created to help those that developed epilepsy, but now it has become one of the most popular ways to lose weight. Though it may have worked extremely well for Guadagnino, it is not for everyone as it is a long-term plan.
