Activision is no stranger to having celebrities appear in Call of Duty commercials and even the games themselves. After all, Kevin Spacey stars in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as Atlas Corp. CEO and primary villain Jonathan Irons. Perhaps it is no surprise then that even more celebrities are coming to the game, except this time they will be playable.
Yes, you read that right. In the upcoming Exo Zombie mode that comes with the Havoc DLC pack, players can take control of John Malkovich (Burn After Reading, Penguins of Madagascar), Bill Paxton (Nightcrawler, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Charmed, Planet Terror), and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Walking Dead). Each will star in the new mode as Atlas employees attempting to survive a horde of undead, and if nothing else, Bernthal should be more than experienced at taking down zombies after playing Shane on The Walking Dead. Just watch out for the super-powered ones wearing the exo suits. Check out the teaser trailer below.
The Havoc DLC pack, along with Exo Zombies, is due out in January on Xbox as a standalone purchase or as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass. PlayStation players will have to wait just a tad longer before getting their hands on the DLC.
