Speculation on what will happen once the comet hits the world of Fortnite is still rampant. Nobody knows what will happen yet and players are beginning to get impatient. Some players took it upon themselves to begin destroying Titled Towers.
The players had a dance party after they flattened the area.
Dance Party At Titled Towers
Anything that is placed on the map on Fortnite can be destroyed. Players used this principle to take the area known as Tilted Towers apart before the comet could do it. The only problem the players had was that this is a battle royale game and other players would rather be playing than destroying Tilted Towers.
Players on Reddit began to organize a destruction party for Tilted Towers. It's against the rules to band together so this would be difficult. Players were told to all log in at 6 p.m. Eastern time on April 18. They were directed to use the Oceania servers which would be less busy.
To see who would be part of the celebration, users were told to wear the default skin. Those who weren't wearing it would be killed. Many players were able to successfully destroy the area across different games.
Some players who didn't know what was happening tried to kill those who were taking part of the celebration. Other players tried to ruin it by killing all of the players. Having too many players in one place caused the game to lag.
Once the players were successful in bringing down Tilted Towers, they constructed pyramids and had a dance party in the area.
Latest On The Comet
Players still have no idea what's going to happen when the comet arrives. The popular theory is that it will hit Tilted Towers and demolish the area.
Telescopes have been placed around Tilted Towers, and a large amount of loot was placed at the base of it. This makes players think that something will happen on April 18.
One player theorizes on the Fortnite forums that Tilted Towers will be removed due to its location. Tilted Towers is located at the center of the map, this makes it a natural place for players to congregate to search for loot and to find other players to kill. The theory argues that this disrupts the natural flow of the game.
Players are still waiting for a resolution to the event, though they're still not sure what's going to happen once the comet finally hits the map.
