Nintendo has now announced the list of games coming to the Nintendo eShop, starring the Switch port of the 2013 hit survival game Don't Starve.
Don't Starve: Nintendo Switch Edition Now Available
The open world survival game features Wilson, a scientist trying to survive the wilderness in an eerie art style reminiscent of Tim Burton's. While he fights off the monsters, he also has to stave off starvation and manage his sanity and health levels. It has a pretty punishing gameplay, and players love it for that reason.
The Don't Starve: Nintendo Switch Edition works out to be cheaper than the PC version. It costs $19.99 including the two expansions, whereas the standalone title costs $15 on Steam and it's $5 per expansion.
Including Don't Starve, 17 Nintendo Switch titles plus one for the Wii U are coming to the Nintendo eShop. Every game should already be live except for It's Spring Again, which will drop on April 17.
The pocket-sized survival game is also available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, and Windows PC. It's also available on Android and iOS.
Burley Men At Sea: A Hidden Nintendo eShop Gem
Another title that came to the Nintendo eShop under the radar is Burly Men at Sea, a point and click title with easy-on-the-eye illustrations and colors. It's part visual novel where players take the role of the narrator and wayfinder. The player shapes the story, taking the three bearded fishermen through the Scandinavian waters where creatures from the folklore are lurking.
It is an unassuming title that Time Magazine named as one of the top 10 games in 2016.
"It's the artful interplay of visual minimalism, waggish writing and hilarious but also haunting sound effects generated by gorgeous a cappella voices," Time wrote in its review.
It's now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $10. Players can also get it for the PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Mac, Android phones, and iOS devices.
Nintendo eShop Sale Happening Now
Aside from the new titles, players can also explore other games currently on sale at the Nintendo eShop. Some titles, such as Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, Mad Carnage, and Unepic, are available for only $10 or less. Nintendo Switch owners can also get The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth Plus, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, The End is Nigh, and Layers of Fear among others at a lesser price.
The Nintendo eShop sale includes titles for the Wii U and the 3DS as well.
