Less than a week ago, Bungie released The Dark Below expansion for Destiny, and already one player managed to reach level 32, which is the new level cap. The feat was made by a player who goes by the username EnormousTrash on Bungie.net forum.
Hitting level 32 may seem impossible to some, and gamers are correct to believe it is. However, EnormousTrash must have used up a lot of his time to pull this off due to how he explained reaching the level cap. We don't see many gamers doing this, but for those who can, we salute you.
The big question right now is how he did it. We can assure everyone that it was difficult, and that EnormousTrash must have not slept for quite some time to get this done.
To make this happen, users will have to acquire all three raid armor pieces. Furthermore, they need 63 radiant shards, which is the new currency in the expansion. This is needed to max out the armor's light stats at 144, which is the primary requirement to hit the level 32 cap.
Now, because of how Bungie does things with this expansion, it is not possible for a single user to generate the 32 level cap in a single week, so what did EnormousTrash do? From what we understand, he did not gain the help from others, but instead chose to run three Warlocks through the rain. He then deleted one, only to run a single Warlock through the rain 5 times.
This tactic allowed EnormousTrash to gain all the required elements to hit the 32 level cap.
No one at Tech Times will attempt to do this, and we wouldn't recommend anyone to follow the footsteps of this guy because to game this long could be dangerous in many ways than one.
At the end of the day, we have to wonder, is this a great gaming achievement, or a gamer going too far? In our eyes, we view this as a person going too far for recognition from his peers. Still, it doesn't make his accomplishment any less awesome, just a little bit concerning.
