Nokia parent company HMD Global unveiled a number of devices on Sunday before the Mobile World Congress 2018, including the attractive Nokia 7 Plus as its upper midrange offering.
The Nokia 7 Plus is quite different than the Nokia 7 launched back in October 2017, sporting a larger screen, a pure Android experience, and more appealing specs.
Android One Nokia 7 Plus
First of all, the Nokia 7 Plus is an Android One smartphone, so it will deliver a vanilla Android experience. This means that it will not have any skins or other customizations on top of the stock Android OS, which should appeal more to Android purists.
Nokia 7 Plus Dual Rear Cameras
The Nokia 7 Plus boasts a dual rear camera setup with Carl Zeiss optics, promising great photos even in low-light environments. The smartphone also comes with the "bothie" feature found on the Nokia 8, allowing users to take photos with both the front and the rear cameras at the same time.
Looking Nokia's lineup of Android smartphones, the Nokia 7 Plus fits above the Nokia 7 in terms of specs and features, but below the Nokia 8.
The dual rear camera setup consists of a 12-megapixel primary camera with wide-angle lens and f/1.75 aperture and a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.6 aperture and 2x optical zoom. To complete the setup, Nokia also put in Zeiss optics and a dual-tone LED flash.
On the front, the Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel camera with fixed focus, Zeiss optics, and f/2.0 aperture.
Nokia 7 Plus Specs

Under the hood, the smartphone packs the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The Nokia 7 Plus further comes with 64 GB of native storage space, with microSD support for up to 256 GB of extra storage.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 7 Plus supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.
