As part of its ongoing Cyber Week deals, Amazon is now offering the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 upfront for free. The deal requires a commitment to the "Next Plan" with AT&T.
While Apple and Google are newcomers to the phablet game with the iPhone 6 Plus and Nexus 6, Samsung still maintains the most valuable player status in the jumbo-sized smartphone arena. The company is already on its fourth-generation flagship phablet and even released a variant of it with the Galaxy Note Edge, which incorporates a flexible display that curves around the Note's right edge and displays notifications and shortcuts to apps.
When we reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in November, we proclaimed that it was hands down the best smartphone Samsung has ever released and we also compared it with Google's massively popular 5.9-inch Nexus 6.
Samsung uses its excellent S Pen and exclusive features to set itself apart from other phablets. The Note 4, iPhone 6 Plus, and Nexus 6 all have large, sharp displays, but the S Pen transforms the Note 4 into something that Apple, Google and others can't compete with. The S Pen uses hardware and software to interact with the Note 4 and it provides a more natural pen and paper feel. One of its best features is that it allows you to handwrite your emails and text messages and have your words converted into text instantly.
The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes equipped with a gorgeous 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a high pixel density of 515 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone is packing a speedy 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 3 GB of RAM to keep up with intense games, multitasking and more. It includes 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 128-GB microSD cards.
Samsung didn't skimp on the Galaxy Note 4's camera; you'll find a high-end 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), the ability to record UHD and Full HD video, and a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chat. It ships with a large, removable 3,220 mAh battery that will provide up to 20 hours of talk time.
The Note 4 has a built-in heart rate sensor, UV sensor, and fingerprint scanner and has a new Adaptive Fast Charging feature that can provide up to a 50 percent charge in about 30 minutes.
The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available for no cost though the Next Plan but note that AT&T requires you to make additional payments through the length of the plan you select.
