Amazon Prime Day 2017 Shopping Tips: How To Get The Best Deals

Amazon Prime Day 2017 is going to be one heck of a sale, with deals popping up here and there every five minutes.

The event is expected to be a big one, but despite that, it might be difficult to get the best deals since it'll likely attract a ton of customers.

That said, there are many ways to improve your chances.

How To Get The Best Amazon Prime Day 2017 Deals

Just ask, "Alexa, what are your deals?"

Download the free Amazon app: To get the lowdown of the situation early on, install the Amazon app to track deals.

In the app, open the menu found in the top-left corner and tap on Today's Deals. After that, click on Upcoming, and you should see a list of all the deals that are set to go live in the next 24 hours. Pick out the categories you want to monitor and tap on Watch This Deal to get notifications when the deals go up.

Also, if this is your first time using the app, you'll even get $10 worth of Amazon credit.

The shopping app is available via the Play Store and iTunes. You can also get a download link of the app through Amazon.

Join waiting lists: Whenever a product is already sold out, it doesn't always mean it's unavailable. You see, you can join the wait list by clicking on the, well, Join Waitlist button. That way you'll get a notification when the item is up for grabs again when other customers who managed to add it to their cart end up not buying it at all.

Turn on 1-Click Ordering: This is pretty straightforward already. Just enable 1-Click Ordering so that you don't have to type your payment details every time you buy something. Take note that this may not work with certain Lightning deals, though.

Prepare Your List ahead of time: Filling up Your List with the products you want will not only let you keep track of them more easily but also get notifications when they go on sale.

Amazon Prime Day 2017 Details

On that note, Alexa users will get yet another advantage. That $99 sign-up fee will go down to $79 if you subscribe using the voice assistant.

Just say, "Alexa, sign me up for Prime."
