Google finally removed a homophobic game after getting blasted with criticism for allowing the app to be available to download for weeks.
The homophobic game called Ass Hunter first appeared in Google's Play Store on November 5, although the offensive game has been available online for a few years. "Popular game hunting on gays is now on android! Play and do not be gay," the app description read.
To play the homophobic game, users control a hunter who has to kill naked men with a shotgun before they reach him. If the hunter doesn't get the money shot, then the men will rape the hunter.
"Remember! When they catch you they will do with you whatever they want [winking face]," the game's entry read.
Ass Hunter, which was rated suitable for 'everyone,' was downloaded more than 10,000 times before Google shot it down from the Play Store. It received 200 five star reviews before being pulled today.
The homophobic game was shot down after a Twitter campaign asked users to flag the app to administrators.
Google has not commented on the game, but according Google Play's content policy, games that encourage "violence and bullying" are not allowed.
