Samsung made its Mobile World Congress debut and launched the Galaxy Tab S3. The 9.7-inch tablet features a glass design, runs Android 7.0 Nougat, comes with the Note series's popular S Pen stylus, and will launch in March starting at 679 euros ($718).
Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab S3
We knew that Samsung was planning to launch its next-generation Galaxy Tab S3 at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona when the tablet's FCC certification was uncovered in late January. The company just made the Galaxy Tab S3 official at its MWC 2017 press event and revealed the tablet's specs, features, release date, and pricing information.

Galaxy Tab S3 Specs And Features
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a 9.7-inch, 2,048 x 1,536 Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The tablet is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 GPU, and 4 GB of RAM. The Tab S3 includes 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 256 GB microSD cards.
Samsung spared no expense when it comes to the Galaxy Tab S3's camera capabilities. It packs in a 13-megapixel rear camera with digital zoom, LED Flash, ability to capture 4K video at 30fps, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat. It uses a large 6,000 mAh non-removable battery with Fast Charging support built in for up to 12 hours of video playback and quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by Harman for enhanced audio.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 uses an all-new glass design that gives the tablet a premium feel and also includes the popular S Pen stylus in the box, so no separate purchase like Apple's Apple Pencil.
Galaxy Tab S3 Release Date And Price
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S3 Wi-Fi model will cost 679 euros ($718) and the Wi-Fi and LTE model will cost 769 euros ($813). Samsung will begin shipping the Galaxy Tab S3 beginning in March in Europe. Once we hear any details on U.S. availability, we'll report back to you.
