LG is also set to make its 2017 flagship smartphone official by launching the LG G6 at an event on Feb. 26 to kick off the show, which begins on Feb. 27. An image of the LG G6 leaked in late January, which showed an up close shot of the handset on its side. Now, two new images of the LG G6 have been published online and the images give us a better look at the smartphone from the front to back.

New LG G6 Images Leak

9To5Google received the images above from an anonymous source, and as you can see the first image shows the LG G6 from the front. The smartphone will use a 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision display with rounded corners, which will have an 18:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 1,440 x 2,880. We also get a first look at the LG G6's always-on display, which shows time, date, battery level, and notifications.

Moving on to the second image, we get a view of the LG G6 from the back and its metallic silver case. The smartphone's dual rear camera setup is on display, as well as its fingerprint scanner situated right below the camera, and a little further down the G6 branding is stamped on the handset.

LG G6 Specs

LG is expected to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor to power the LG G6 and not the latest Snapdragon 835, which is reportedly going to be initially exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. The handset will supposedly ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and run an updated version of LG's Android skin, LG UX 6.0 interface.

The publication also provided a rundown of some of the specs of the LG G6 from its anonymous source, which claims it will include 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot to allow users to increase available space, and a large 3,200 mAh non-removable battery.

We'll keep you updated on any new LG G6 details as they become available.
