You'll soon be able to eat Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in spreadable form

From Oreo Churros to Dorito-flavored Mountain Dew to the recently announced Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate spread, it's been a big week for the fusion food market.

Combining two favorite flavors, chocolate and peanut butter, Hershey's announced on Tuesday that it is adding its popular Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to its line of spreads which include chocolate, chocolate with hazelnut and chocolate with almond.

"Since 1928, we have been delivering the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter," brand manager at the Hershey's Company, Daren Russ said. "With the launch of Reese's Spreads, we are honoring our great heritage and bringing consumers a new, but still perfect, way to enjoy the Reese's brand."

Jars of the 13-ounce Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate spread will hit shelves later this month, providing the perfect way to include the cups into snacks.

The spread will compete against Nutella, which is arguably the Internet's favorite thing ever. I guess we'll just have to see how the new spread compares.
