Oscars 2017 Nominations List: See Which Films Made The Cut

Oscars 2017 season is here! The Academy has just released its official list of nominations. Fans and critics may already have their own favorites when it comes to who will bag home the golden statuettes. As always, some wild cards and surprises -- hello, Leo DiCaprio -- will make the awards night more exciting.

And of course, Meryl Streep. (Yes, she is nominated. And yes, might win. Again.)

The amazing list of Academy Awards nominees for 2017 is headlined by frontrunner La La Land with 14 tickboxes while Moonlight and Arrival come next with eight nods.

Fresh from its Golden Globes hoard earlier this month, where it bagged a historic seven awards, movie musical La La Land is looking to do an encore at the Oscars gala.

Check if your favorites made the cut in our Oscars 2017 list!
