Unknown LeEco Smartphone With 4 Cameras Spotted On GFXBench

LeEco, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, recently landed in hot water, when some Huawei executives were arrested for leaking confidential information to the company. Despite such minor bumps on the road to success, LeEco is back with a bang.

A mysterious phone by LeEco has recently been spotted on benchmarking site GFXBench. The handset features configuration for four cameras. Dual camera is now a must-have feature on most upcoming smartphones and it seems LeEco wants to leave everyone behind by giving its consumers the luxury of using four cameras on one phone.

Rumored Specs Of LeEco Mystery Phone

According to GFXBench, the smartphone has been named LeEco X10 and codenamed X85x. The listing also states that the handset will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset, and will house 6 GB of RAM.

The LeEco X10 will supposedly have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, with multi-touch gesture support of up to five fingers. The most exciting feature of the phone is its rumored four cameras.

According to the benchmarking site, the LeEco X10 will have two front cameras and two rear cameras. Both the front cameras will be 15-megapixels with 4640 x 3480 resolution. One of the front cameras will also capture full HD video in 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Similar to the front cameras, there will be two 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras that support face detection, autofocus and 4K video recording of up to 3840 x 2160 resolution. The rear cameras will be fitted with LED Flash and touch focus as well.

If the specs listed are true, then LeEco will be dropping some potent technology for the other smartphones to match up to on the market.

As the codename of the smartphone features the alphabet X, it is being speculated that LeEco X10 can be the lower-end version of LeEco X850, which showed up on TENAA in 2016.

It is also being speculated that the LeEco X10 dubbed the X85x, could also be LeEco X850 in a rebranded form. The developers may have left out the 5.7-inch screen and opted for the breakthrough technology of four cameras.

LeEco Available On Amazon

LeEco, other than incorporating advanced technology in its upcoming smartphone, has also started to establish its foothold in the United States by retailing its products via Amazon and BestBuy. LeEco has now opened its own Amazon Store where it is selling its smartphones and SmartTVs.
