Apple shipped its new wireless AirPods just before Christmas and all signs point to another hit for the company. You can get the wireless headphones from Best Buy for $25 off their current $159 price.
AirPods Get Delayed
When Apple unveiled the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at its annual iPhone event in September, the company also announced wireless headphones in the form of AirPods. The headphones had been a rumored device for years and complemented Apple's latest iPhones, since the pair both dropped the standard 3.5mm headphone port. AirPods were expected to go on sale in October but got delayed until mid-December and completely sold out within minutes of being offered on Apple's online store.
AirPods "Are A Run-Away Success"
In late December, Tim Cook described Apple's AirPods as a "run-away success" when speaking to CNBC and promised the company was making more "as fast as we can." Apple currently lists a six-week shipping time for new AirPods orders on its site and is shipping limited supplies to its retail stores. While all major U.S. carriers and big box retailers are also selling AirPods, the wireless headphones are only being offered online currently.
BestBuy AirPods Deal
