Samsung is purportedly working on a new lineup of smartphones for its Galaxy C series, and could take the wraps off the rumored handsets this month.
The Galaxy C7 Pro is one of the devices that Samsung supposedly has in the works. The smartphone may make its debut alongside sibling Galaxy C7 Pro on Jan. 21.
As the alleged debut of the Galaxy C7 Pro inches closer, rumors and leaks pertaining to the impending Samsung smartphone are emerging online. Close on the heels of the Galaxy C5 Pro surfacing on benchmark listings, alleged live images of the Galaxy C7 Pro have now popped up online and show off the handset from all angles.
The leaked images are courtesy of Slashleaks and were contributed by a user named Dimitri12 on Jan. 6. The images are allegedly of the actual Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone and not a prototype.
The nine images show off the handset in gold and inside a transparent case. The tipster who sent them in has an accuracy record of 92 percent. The website has fake and legit tabs placed below the image gallery so that people can vote. At the time of writing, the Galaxy C7 Pro images have received a trust score of 100 percent.
Rumored Specs
Interestingly, one of the images shows off the About Device of the smartphone, and the Device Name section clearly lists Galaxy C7 Pro. This information has likely influenced the faith of readers assessing the leaked images as it suggests that the photos are possibly the real deal.
The About section also shares that the model number of the impending Samsung handset is SM-C7010. Three of the images also show the Galaxy C7 Pro in a user's hands, offering a peek into the edges of the handset.
The images also affirm that the Galaxy C7 Pro would sport a metal body and may come in a golden color. Considering Samsung has a pink gold color option available for the Galaxy C9 Pro, the Galaxy C7 Pro may also come in this hue.
For those wondering about the specs, the Galaxy C7 Pro is rumored to tout a 5.7-inch 1080p display. Under the hood, the handset will likely house a Snapdragon 626 processor and 4 GB of RAM. The on-board storage memory for the handset is said to be 64 GB.
The Galaxy C7 Pro will also be equipped with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset may find favor with selfie lovers as it is rumored to pack in a 16-megapixel front-facing snapper. The Samsung phablet will be fueled by a 3,000 mAh battery, and it will come pre-loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The Galaxy C7 Pro will reportedly release in China first with other countries following suit. It will be priced at CNY 2,799, which is approximately $404. If the rumors bear fruition, then the Galaxy C7 Pro would be launched on Jan. 21.
