Samsung recently released the Blue Coral and Pink Gold versions of its Galaxy S7 edge in India, and now it's time for the Black Pearl avatar to hit the scene as well.
The Black Pearl Galaxy S7 edge is Samsung's answer to the Jet Black iPhone 7 series, which proved to be immensely popular. The Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is poised to go head to head with the Jet Black iPhone 6 Plus, boasting a glossy elegant finish and 128 GB of native storage space to boot.
Due to the storage bump, the Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is more expensive than other variants of the smatphone.
Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge India Price And Release
In India, the Black Pearl avatar of the dual-curved flagship comes at a price point of Rs. 56,900, which would translate to roughly $836 based on current exchange rates. Samsung has set the release date for Dec. 30, with the mention that shipments may see a delay of 2-3 days in Bengaluru/ Chennai depending on weather conditions.
The Black Pearl color option joins the other variants that were already available, such as Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Pink Gold and Blue Coral, so the Galaxy S7 edge offers plenty of options to suit various tastes and preferences.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Specs
Other that the extra storage and the glossy black finish, the Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has the same specifications as the other models. As a reminder, the handset features a 5.5-inch QHD Super AMOLED Always-on dual-curved edge display with a high resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, an Exynos 8890 64-bit octa-core processor for the global version (including India), 4 GB of RAM and a 3,600 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
Other specs include a 12-megapixel main shooter, a 5-megapixel selfie cam, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board out of the box.
After the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung is trying to make its Galaxy S7 line more appealing by adding new color options to keep users engaged until the next-generation Galaxy S8 is ready to hit the scene.
