Multiple reports have claimed that Apple will use the same playbook of releasing "S" moniker models in 2017, which will include an iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. The smartphones will retain an almost identical design to that of their predecessors but feature upgraded internals like an A11 processor, more RAM, larger batteries, and improved front and rear cameras.

Apple is also rumored to release a high end and completely redesigned iPhone 8 model to celebrate the smartphone's 10th anniversary. High End All-Glass Design And Curved OLED iPhone 8 Codenamed "Ferrari"
Now, a new report from a Weibo user who has a decent track record of reporting accurate Apple news has posted images and details revealing the codenames for the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone 8, in addition to showing what is reportedly the two-part motherboard that will be used in the iPhone 8.
The tipster claims the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone 8 have internal model numbers of D20, D21, and D22. In what appears to be confirmation that the iPhone 8 will indeed be a high end model, the company has reportedly given the OLED 10th anniversary iPhone the codename, "Ferrari."
The iPhone 8 will reportedly feature a smaller and sleeker design than the iPhone 7 Plus because of its bezel-less display and the addition of a new two-part motherboard seen in the image above. This will supposedly allow Apple to give the handset a "more compact build." The handset will have its SIM card relocated from the side of the device to the bottom, which will reportedly allow more room for internal components.
As always, we'll keep you updated on any additional iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone 8 details as they become available.
