A portion of Costco's 2016 Black Friday deals has leaked, revealing various bargains on some of the hottest tech items of the year. Among the discounts are $50 off both the newest Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One S, and $250 off the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
It's hard to believe, but Black Friday 2016 is less than 3 weeks away, and as always seems to be the case in the weeks leading up to the kickoff of this year's holiday shopping season, some of the deals from many of the nation's biggest retailers have already been announced, while some have leaked early, prior to the official announcement.
We recently told you about a leak of T-Mobile's Black Friday deals for 2016 via a copy of the mobile carrier's holiday flyer. Now, what appears to be a portion of the Black Friday deals at big box retail club Costco has leaked as well.
The leak comes in the form of two pages of the Costco holiday flyer, which appears to be just a small part of the entire Black Friday circular but contains some of the hottest deals on offer of several technology items.
Gaming console bundles are always among the biggest holiday season purchases, and most big retailers tend to make the items part of their big Black Friday sales. This year appears to be no different, and the flyer leak reveals that Costco is planning to offer its customers a $50 off discount on the two most popular game systems, the Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One S. The PlayStation 4 Slim bundle, will include Uncharted 4 and an extra Dualshock 4 controller, while the Xbox One S bundle includes the popular Minecraft game.
Among the other top offers are a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 bundle with Surface Pen and Type Cover for $250 off, and the highly rated Dell XPS 13, along with one year of Office 365, for $300 off. Note that the actual prices from which the reductions are to be taken are not yet specified. This may be a strategy employed by Costco in order to wait and assess what its competitors are selling the discounted items for before deciding on final pricing, so stay tuned.
Also note that Costco, like Sam's Club and BJ's, is a membership only retailer. That means its offers are only available to those who have signed up for a fee to belong to Costco, allowing them to shop either online or at the many Costco retail locations across the country.
