Walmart is kicking off the 2016 holiday sale season extra early with a Black Friday bargain deal repeat from last year that customers can get in on right now. The big box retailer is offering a Roku 32-inch LED Smart HDTV for the sale price of just $125.
Black Friday Early Deal: $125 Roku 32-Inch LED Smart HDTV
It seems as if every year the holiday season starts earlier, and this year is shaping up to be no exception. Walmart has just announced its plans for holiday sales and deals and is offering one great Black Friday bargain right now — a Roku 32-inch LED Smart HDTV for only $125.
Walmart's holiday sale announcement included the promise of a $125 Roku 32-inch LED Smart HDTV to be made available in November and December, but we've spotted the set already on Walmart's website as of right now. While company's press release didn't name the specific manufacturer, it claimed the set being offered was the same as the retailer's Black Friday deal from 2015, which was the TCL 32S3750.
Buy Now Online, Pick Up At Store
That exact set is now listed already on Walmart's website at the $125 bargain price. The deal is only available for pickup at stores, which is free and cannot be shipped. It looks as if Walmart is trying to create foot traffic in stores by making the deal available for online purchase but requiring pickup at store locations. The set is now in stock at several locations we checked, but if it is out of stock locally, the web page displaying the product will offer the customer the opportunity to sign up for an email notification when it becomes available nearby.
The manufacturer of the bargain set may in fact differ as the holiday season continues, as there are several different manufacturers of Roku HDTV's besides TCL. Customers who purchased the set so far appear pleased with its performance, with the TCL 32S3750 LED HDTV receiving an average of four and a half stars out of a possible five in reviews on Walmart's website. The company promises a lot more bargains in store for the season.
"I can't remember another year when I've been this excited about the merchandise we are offering customers," declared Steve Bratspies, chief merchandising officer for Walmart U.S.
"It's not just about one category or one item. Our whole store is going to be stocked with new, exciting items from hot toys to new electronics available at the best prices. We will win the season on price, from the first weekend in November to Black Friday and Cyber Monday and through those final weeks in December."
