Netflix released the trailer for season 2 of its original series Fuller House, a reboot of the popular '90s series, and of course all we have is two words: have mercy.
Of course the trailer is oozing with the cheesiness that viewers were exposed to the first time around, but it's that whole-hearted family fun that is what has made Full House and now its spinoff sequel so popular among new and old fans.
Family Holidays On 'Fuller House'
And this season nothing will change when it comes to those family moments as the Tanner clan comes together to celebrate the holidays. That means get ready for Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) gobbling like a turkey for Thanksgiving and the Tanner-Fullers snapping their Christmas card photo.
But who will be D.J.'s (Candace Cameron Bure) New Year Eve's kiss? The single mom has finally decided between Steve (Scott Weinger) and Matt (John Brotherton) — a major cliffhanger from season 1 — but she might have missed her chance with both of them. It appears like D.J.'s love life is turning into the plot of a Lifetime movie.
However, it's sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) that has sparks flying with a new flame, but this fire might burn out after finding that her love interest is Kimmy's brother.
Everyone's Growing Up
This season also focuses on how the kids in the series continue to grow.
"It's true; the older you get the faster things seem to change," D.J. says.
This includes Kimmy's daughter Romona (Soni Nicole Bringas) having her first kiss and patriarch Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) going through a midlife crisis.
While this means getting ready for the corny jokes, it also means there will probably be lots of walking down memory lane.
And while the trailer doesn't reveal the return of Michelle Tanner (the Olsen twins) it does feature the New Kids On The Block to cater to all fans '90s nostalgia. This also means gets ready for more dance off scenes (as I said before, have mercy!).
John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Lori Laughlin will all reprise their roles again for season 2. Fuller House also stars Juan Pablo Di Pace as Fernando, Michael Campion as Jackson, Elias Harger as Max, Dashiell, the Fox Messitt Twins as Baby Tommy and Ashley Liao as Lola.
Fuller House season 2 will premiere on Netflix on December 9. Check out the trailer below.
