Netflix Renews 'Fuller House' For Season 2 Just Days After The Series Premiered

When it comes to the Netflix original series Fuller House, viewers either found it to be the best thing that has ever happened since its parent series aired, or found it complete intolerable to watch. However, bad news for those who fall into the second category, because there will be even more episodes starring the Fuller-Tanner family coming soon.

Netflix announced on Wednesday that has in fact renewed Fuller House for a second season.

The announcement comes just five days after the original series debuted on the platform, and shortly after the Internet was flooded with reviews that claimed the series was so bad, it almost hurt to watch.

Despite the really, really bad reviews, fans just can't get enough of the Netflix original series. After the series aired on Feb. 26, many people immediately sent tweets wondering if and pleading that the show come back for another season.

The streaming service is all about giving people what they want.

Netflix released a short video that features the main cast members, including D.J. Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure) and sons Jackson (Michael Campion), Max (Elias Harger) and Tommy (Dashiell and Fox Messitt), sitting on the iconic checkered blue couch, with sister Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) on the arm above Comet 2.0, named Cosmo T.D Fuller. The group, which also includes Romona Gibbler (Soni Bringas), gets ready for their family portrait as D.J.'s best friend-turned roomie Kimmy Gibber (Andrea Barber) sets the camera.

We expected John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughin to reprise their roles in season 2, although nothing has yet been confirmed. That also leaves us wondering if the Olsen twins would finally agree to come back for just one episode.

The Netflix original is the spinoff to the sitcom Full House that aired in the '80s and '90s and became a staple to pop culture with one-liners like, "Cut. It. Out" and You got it, dude" and a family-friendly TV series favorite loved by viewers of all ages.

Fuller House is everything a fan would expect it to be, packed with nostalgia, cheesy jokes and lots of family hugs.

Season 1 of Fuller House is available to stream on Netflix. No word yet on the expected release date for season 2, but check out the video below.
