According to BlackFridayDeathCount.com, a site that has been monitoring deaths and injuries related to the shopping frenzy, there had been seven deaths and 90 injuries since 2006 related to the shopping frenzy that takes place in the U.S. on the weekend after Thanksgiving. While this year's Black Friday is over, the madness to get the best deals goes on until Cyber Monday, and for some retailers, the rest of this week.
Most of the hot deals are available starting midnight of December 1 with tablets, smartphones, clothes and home appliances on sale at Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, and Target.
Here's a look at some of the best Cyber Monday deals.
Walmart
Those looking to get hold of the latest video game consoles can order a PlayStation 4 bundle for $517 that comes with the console, one game, and a DualShock 4 controller. Xbox One fanatics will spend just a bit more and can package an accessory or a game with the Xbox One for $559.
Walmart is also slashing $500 off the price of a 55-inch LG 3D high-definition TV now selling for $799. Likewise, a 46-inch Samsung LED TV goes for a special deal of $478 tat translates to a savings of $400.
It is also chopping off $150 from the tag price of the iPad with 32GB storage.
Free shipping starts at $35.
Amazon
Just like its Black Friday deals, Amazon will throw out lightning deals for consumers every 10 minutes.
Some of the best deals include 47- and 55-inch Panasonic Smart 3D HDTV that has a price cut of 40% from the original tag price. The online retailer also offers a 46-inch LED HDT from Samsung for just $477.99.
Beats and Bose headphones will go on sale with a 10 percent discount on select items. The same is true for toys that will have discounts of as much as 50 percent.
Amazon is also offering the 16GB version of Kindle Fire HD at $119, down from the original price of $169. The online retailer also has a one-cent deal for the HTC One smartphone with a two-year contract with Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.
Target
The deals for Target's Cyber Week started Sunday. Those looking to update their wardrobe will be able to bag women's, kid's, and men's apparel for as much as 60 percent and buy one, get one promos. Toys also go for the same scheme with a 30 percent discount. Both deals come with free shipping.
Cameras are also up for grabs from the retailer with the DSLR EOS 60D from Canon selling for $899.99. Customers can also get the basic point and shoot digital cameras such as the Pentax Q10 and the Polaroid Action Cam for $249.99 and $89.99, respectively.
Best Buy
Not to be outdone by its rivals, Best Buy is offering Samsung 55-inch LED Smart TV for just $899.99 and the Insignia 50-inch LED HD TV for $399.99.
A plethora of home appliances, flash drives, video games and DVD titles have also been discounted but watch out - most of the discounts are not Cyber Monday-exclusive discounts, which means these discounts could be on offer throughout the year.
However, there's a good reason to buy from Best Buy on Cyber Monday and the entire Cyber Week, because the electronics retail chain is giving away $10 coupon for every $100 spent, a value that can be redeemed in Best Buy stores.
