Get ready to strap on your exo-suit, soldier. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare drops on November 4, 2014, and it's one of the first Call of Duty games fans have been genuinely excited about in years. Promising a huge step forward, Advanced Warfare is the first game in the series made for next-generation consoles, and the first entry created solely by the guys behind Dead Space. You know, that space horror shooter that was all like:
Activision and Sledgehammer Games have posted a new trailer for Advanced Warfare, titled "Power Changes Everything." The video shows off a little bit of everything the game can do, and also features the world premiere footage of the game's 4-player co-op mode, "Exo Survival." This 4-player mode has a hint of Left 4 Dead's back-to-back play style, but there's way more to it than that.
The studio did a killer job with the editing on this thing; it's more exciting than most of the movie trailers you probably saw this summer.
Warning: you may find yourself holding your breath during the three minutes it plays.
Okay, can we have to stop and talk for a moment about the bit where the guy gets pulled out of his exo-suit from behind. Holy crapballs. Even if you're not among the Call of Duty faithful, you gotta admit that's sick.
Call of Duty remains one of the world's biggest franchises, but it's been losing players the last few years. Activision is hoping Advanced Warfare will reignite players' passion for the series.
What do you think? Will you be buying it? Is this The One we've been waiting for?
