Vin Diesel, one of the main faces behind the long-running Fast and Furious franchise, has posted an image on his Facebook page of Paul Walker in the movie. This is the first time we get to see the deceased actor in the film, but it will not be the last.
The image posted shows Vin Diesel and Paul Walker as Dom Toretto, and Brian O'Conner, respectively, having a serious conversation. We're not sure what they are talking about, but it appears to be about a new enemy or an upcoming race.
"Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7...Speechless... yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE! I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet... we all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come," said Diesel in a post on Facebook.
Fast and Furious 7 was delayed from being released in 2014 due to the death of Paul Walker. The actor died after the car he was a passenger in, crashed into a post and engulfed in flame. Walker died from inhaling the fumes, and his body was allegedly burnt beyond recognition.
The film is not set for release on April 3, 2015, and the box office is expected to explode as fans will no doubt come out to enjoy the film, and to show their respect to Paul Walker.
We understand that Walker didn't get the chance to finish his parts on Fast and Furious 7, so Universal chose to hire the actor's brothers as body doubles to help finish the project. The studio will make use of the brothers and CGI along with voice enhancements to give fans the impression that they are seeing Paul Walker on screen.
This wouldn't be the first time movie studios have done something like this. When Heath Ledger died back in 2008, Warner Bros. used a body double for some sections of The Dark Knight, and it worked out just fine.
Hopefully, Fast and Furious 7 is a good movie, as it would be a worthy sendoff for Paul Walker.
