Seems like Samsung has taken the "cheap plastic body" taunt quite seriously. After receiving scathing criticisms for making plastic bodies for Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4, the South Korean smarthone maker may reveal Galaxy S5 in a metal body.
According to the photo leaked by the folks at Nowhereelse.fr, Samsung Galaxy S5 would not only sport a metal body but also the next generation Galaxy smartphone would have a bigger display.
Elsewhere, a YouTube video (see below) introduces the Samsung Galaxy S5 (unofficial) concept. Per the video, Galaxy S5 will blow its rivals out of the water, with its staggering features. The device, according to the video, is expected to sport a curved (vertical axis) 5-inch 2K super AMOLED HD screen, with an astonishing 260x1440 pixels resolution (pixel density of 587ppi). The smartphone will sport a flexible aluminum body, run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Touchwiz UI out of the box, be powered by 64-bit Octo-core processor (supported by 3GB RAM). A 16-megapixel primary camera and 4,000 mAh battery are also touted.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to launch early next year and some speculate that early glimpses of the smartphone could take place at the mega electronics show International CES, which will be held in January 2014.
