Since it's almost summertime, it's about time we start planning exactly what we want to get accomplished over the next three months. This might include taking a family vacation, starting on a new work project and even binge-watching the next buzzed-about series on Netflix.
And because we are talking about streaming here, we will be able to watch all the new titles being added to Netflix's summer lineup no matter when or where we are - all you need is an account and a screen (and maybe some sunscreen).
We already know that the platform has been making good on its promise to offer its subscribers more original content all year long. With premieres like Marvel's Jessica Jones and Making a Murderer, there has been something everyone can get excited over.
Just wait to see all the new titles about to debut through the summer months. Although technically not the summer, we are kicking the list off with new titles coming early in June like the original series Hibana: Spark, which is based on the Japanese novel Hibana. The series will explore love as seen thoughout a decade in the lives of two young men. On June 17, we will finally get to see the ladies at Litchfield Penitentiary again in the season 4 premiere of Orange is the New Black.
Netflix is heating things up in July with season 2 of Marco Polo and the debut of the new series Marcella, along with the documentary Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru. Make sure to also tune in to see the original film Brahman Naman, which is about a Bangalore high school student who leads his nerdy friends to Calcutta for a quiz championship to win a college prize and find themselves along the way.
August brings with it the anticipated music series The Get Down, but it's September that we are even more excited for because of the season premiere of Marvel's Luke Cage. Fans of Daredevil and Jessica Jones will definitely want to check this one out as the list of Marvel superheroes that call Netflix home continues to grow.
