Ori and the Blind Forest was heavily commended by its fans, and the developing team is ready to make them even happier by releasing a retail version of the game.
Courtesy of Nordic Games, fans of the title will get their hands on a memorable experience that comes packed with the original atmosphere and a myriad of extra goodies.
There are two variants of the game that will hit the shelves.
For a price point of $20, gamers can purchase the Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, which packs the game in high-quality packaging and brings a poster and a manual.
Collectors may want to snatch up the limited edition, which brings an additional poster, two postcards and the highly emotional original soundtrack. The limited edition costs $30.

The additions include two new areas, a hefty amount of content about Naru, Ori's adoptive mother, and a number of gameplay tweaks, such as fast travel. Ambitious gamers will find an extra difficulty setting as well.
"Since we released Ori and the Blind Forest, we've received many mails, tweets and requests from fans asking for a boxed retail release," says Thomas Mahler of Moon Studios.
He adds that the small team of developers are "extremely pleased" to cater to the fans' wishes by adding engorging beautiful content.
As a reminder, Microsoft pushed out the original Ori game on PC and Xbox. This time, Nordic Games will be in charge of publishing the Definitive Edition on PC, while Microsoft will see that the latest installment of the title reaches consoles. There is no word on a limited edition for the Xbox ecosystem.
The initial rollout of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition on PC and Xbox One was scheduled for March. The developers chose to postpone the release in order to fully polish the game, making sure that players get access to a "great experience."
Both Xbox One and PC variants of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will land in stores on June 14.
