Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will finally land on PC later this April, one month after it initially arrived on Xbox One, Microsoft announces.
Soon enough, the Windows crowd will be treated with the updated version of the game that is packed with new areas, story elements, music and abilities, such as Light Burst and Dash.
Microsoft reveals the news via a trailer it pushed out on its official Windows YouTube page. The trailer consists of what's already known about the Definitive Edition along with the DLC that is now out for Xbox One. But certainly, the climax of the trailer is when it announces that the Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will already be rolled out on April 27.
Gamers can upgrade from the original version for $4.99. Those who are going to buy just now can get the game for $19.99.
What's more, Microsoft announces that the game provides support for cross-platform saves with the Xbox One edition.
The release of the PC version of the Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition was supposedly scheduled to be pushed out in March, along with the Xbox One version. It, however, met some delays in order to assure the fans that the game is going to bring with it a "great experience."
"Immediately after the release of Ori and the Blind Forest, we heard cries from fans asking for even more content," says developer Moon Studio.
Rather than rolling out DLC for the game, the developer decided to create a totally new package that comes with the features that fans have been clamoring for along with new content.
It also goes on to say that it spent nearly a year in developing this edition of the Ori and the Blind Forest and hopes that it has now bestowed the great experience for all the game's fans.
If you weren't able to catch this watercolor adventure in 2015, it is now a wonderful time to try it for yourself so you'll see why this game has become a craze to many.
Tech Times earlier reported that during the BAFTA Games Awards, Ori And The Blind Forest got the Artistic Achievement Award.
