Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice didn't make near as much money as Warner Bros. was hoping, not to mention the fact that the film was critically ravished. Not exactly a great start to the DC Cinematic Universe, but come August, the studio will get a second chance to make a good impression when David Ayer's Suicide Squad arrives in theaters.
Warner Bros. recently held a special advance screening of the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe film at a theater in California, where a few lucky fans had the chance to see the film months ahead of its official August release. A few of those viewers took to Twitter to give their opinion on what they saw. So, what did they think?
So far, so good. Early impressions for the film are overwhelmingly positive. You can check out some of the reactions below.

It's worth keeping mind that Warner Bros. likely selects these fans for marketing purposes. After all, what better way to promote your movie than giving DC superfans a chance to see it early and gush about it online? These fan reactions are far from critical analyses. Early fan reactions to Batman v Superman were largely the same, and we see how that ultimately turned out.
Not to say Suicide Squad won't be good or even great. It certainly could be, and everything we've seen so far has us excited. It's just worth realizing that the reactions of a handful of fans don't equate to much in the grand scheme of things. It does, however, give us a little more hope that the DC Cinematic Universe can still be saved.
