Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced Spotted At GFXBench: Octa-Core Processor, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow And 10.1-Inch Screen

Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced tablet with 10.1-inch has been spotted at GFXBench.

According to GFXBench benchmark, the rumored Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced bears the model number SM-T536. The tablet is expected to have a display resolution of 1,280 x 800. The Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced is estimated to run on an octa-core processor and 2 GB of RAM.

The tablet was spotted by Polish publication Tablety and it seems that the 10-inch Samsung device will have moderate internals, but run on Google's latest mobile operating system - Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The tablet may have 32 GB internal memory with the option to expand via a microSD card. Customers may find a 5-megapixel primary camera and 2-megapixel selfie camera in the upcoming Samsung tablet.

The rear-facing camera will have autofocus, face detection and flash, which will help owners to take quality images with ease.

If the rumors are to be believed, then the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced is a midrange tablet, which means that customers can expect it to have an affordable price tag.

The upcoming tablet will be the first update to Galaxy Tab 4 series that was launched in April 2014 and released in some regions within a month. The specs of the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced seem to be a modest bump when compared to the original Galaxy Tab 4.

The screen resolution of the Galaxy Tab 4 is 1,280 x 800 and it runs on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. The tablet includes 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory - expandable to up to 64 GB with a microSD card.

The Galaxy Tab 4 has a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera without autofocus, flash or face detection. The tablet also includes 1.3-megapixel front camera.

A 6,800 mAh battery fuels the Galaxy Tab 4, which offers up to 10 hours of Internet use, up to 10 hours of video playback and up to 208 hours of audio playback. The Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced could have a bigger battery size and combined with the power management tools of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, customers might be able to use the tablet longer than its predecessor.

Details regarding the release date and regions where Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced remain thin. However, the appearance of the tablet on GFXBench suggests that it may be launched sooner than later.
