Bret Hart Is Still Taking Shots At Triple H Without Any Mercy

Bret "the Hitman" Hart isn't shy about sharing his opinions about WWE — as blunt as they can be. Over this month alone, the WWE Hall of Famer has ripped everything from the entire WrestleMania 32 card to the Rock's swollen WrestleMania pay for just a cameo and the company trying too hard to shove Roman Reigns as its champion down our throats.

The latest Superstar caught in the Hitman's crosshairs? None other than Triple H. Hart has taken shots at Triple H in the past. He just expounded on them via this recent interview with Notts TV. Let's just say that the Hitman doesn't see the Game being a Cerebral Assassin when it comes to running the wrestling business, especially over the way he handled CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.

"I'm always happy to be proven wrong, but I've never seen any real genius come from Triple H yet," Hart told Notts TV in his pointed rant about WWE's current EVP of Talent, Live Events and Creative. "I sound like I'm always knocking him, but it seems like he's quick to push the great wrestling to the side and push the bodies, guys who have [good] physiques all the time. They wonder why CM Punk quit and they wonder why Daniel Bryan got hurt. It's because they squeeze so much out of those guys."

Hart was seemingly just warming up with that statement.

"I'm just calling it the way it is. Triple H is a former bodybuilder. He's all about bodies. He thought that Hulk Hogan was the greatest wrestler in the world," he continued. "They think Ultimate Warrior was the greatest wrestler in the world because that's what they're attracted to, but he's not really a wrestling fan like I grew up. I was a wrestling fan. I had wrestling in my blood. All the way through, I was a wrestling fan. I loved great wrestling. Like this year's WrestleMania, there was no great wrestling on the card."

Wow, tell Triple H how you really feel, Bret. He possibly has a point evoking Triple H over the CM Punk-WWE fallout, but we're not sure if Triple H can be blamed for Bryan's injuries. The idea that Triple H leans toward the more muscular superstars seems to be Hart's opinion of his own.

We wonder if his comments will make for a rather icy backstage reception Sunday night, when Hart is slated to appear ringside for niece Natalya's match against WWE Women's champion Charlotte with her father, Ric Flair, by her side.
