Who Did It Best? 3 Late-Night Talk Show Hosts Spoof Beyoncé's 'Lemonade'

Late-night talk shows have been dominated by funny men with a knack for both music and making parodies. It comes as no surprise then that as soon as Beyoncé's incredible new visual album aired, late-night show hosts scrambled to make their own rendition of it.

HBO allowed everyone to watch Beyoncé's Lemonade on April 23 during its Free Preview Weekend, and three late-night show hosts - James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert - were quick to pick it up and present their version to the audience.

Instead of being a visual album, Corden changed the themes around Lemonade to better fit his image and work. That meant Corden talked more about how frustrating it gets to write nightly monologues regardless whether the audience gets to watch it or not. Watch Corden's parody below.

Jimmy Kimmel had a different take on Lemonade. Instead of filming a parody where he takes the role of Beyoncé, Kimmel decided that it is better to educate the audience by explaining what it is all about.

Kimmel broke down the events that transpire before and after Lemonade was released, beginning from reminding the audience about Jay-Z's reported infidelity to Beyoncé's album release. He also explained who Beyoncé's fans believe was involved in the marital controversy and how some mistakenly threatened chef Rachel Ray because her name sounds a little like the name of the woman who was supposedly involved with Jay-Z.

Stephen Colbert took Lemonade in a different direction too. The late-night host decided to "white-mansplain" certain parts of Lemonade, specifically the lyrical parts which, as he points out, should not be taken literally. He also noted that people have been mistaking television chef Rachel Ray for Jay-Z's alleged mistress, Rachel Roy.

So who did it best? Corden who made his own version or Kimmel or Colbert who attempted to explain it? Let us know what you think in the comments!
