A new “The Walking Dead” trailer is out to tease the show’s upcoming fifth season.
AMC released the trailer on Sunday, September 7. And, as fans of the zombie apocalypse show should expect, this new clip shows Rick and the gang fighting against both the living and the dead.
There was also news last week about "The Walking Dead" getting its own spin-off series, which you can celebrate here. Will this season somehow tie into the new show? It's a possibility, but the new series is taking place outside of Atlanta. So the main series might still be acting on its own.
This new preview for the fifth season also shows Rick cautioning his son, Carl, “No matter what anyone says, no matter what you think, you are not safe.” Carl is probably well aware of this after four seasons. But it’s nice to see the two spending some quality time together. Last season ended up with Rick and company trapped by the bizarre inhabitants of Terminus. There is no telling if/how our heroes escape, and who will be left when the dust settles.
Until we have our answers, you can look for clues in the trailer below:
The Season 5 premiere of “The Walking Dead” is Sunday, October 12 at 9/8c on AMC.
