Ubisoft will participate at the E3 2016 Conference and the publisher officially announced that it will take the stage on June 13.
This year's event will see the speakers holding the press conference on June 13, after which fans will have access to the show floor from June 14-16.
Ubisoft made a tradition out of having its press conferences during mid-day on the opening Monday of the E3, and this year is only slightly different. According to the company's tweet, the press conference will commence at 1:00 p.m., after a quick pre-show that takes place at 12:30 p.m.
At the E3 2016, Ubisoft will fill the time window previously destined for Electronic Arts, which said that it will not take part in this year's event. However, it should be noted that fans will be still able to find EA at the show, just in a slightly unusual fashion. Instead of having a booth, the publisher will host its own event during the early days of E3. This includes a press conference and...drum roll...a consistent period from June 12-14 when players can get their hands on the latest games.
There is a strong chance to see the publisher showcase content from different upcoming tiles, and even some DLCs for existing titles, such as the popular The Division.
Fans of sarcasm and societal criticism will be happy to know that South Park: The Fractured But Whole could be presented with additional details during this year's conference. The game was touted during E3 2015, and we look forward to hearing how it's developing.
Fans also expect Ubisoft to talk about four additional games, namely Wildlands, Watch Dogs 2, For Honor and Ghost Recon game.
On the other hand, despite anticipation building up, the publisher shows no hurry in launching the next installment in the Assassin's Creed series. There is a small possibility that the publisher will showcase progress on the motion picture with the homonymous title, which stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. Assassin's Creed, the movie, should come out in December.
