It is less than two weeks before Game of Thrones season six finally kicks off on HBO and the production is on overdrive when it comes to giving fans snippets, teases and trailers for the upcoming season.
The second trailer is already out and we have seen some crushed hopes, serious confrontations and uncertain futures but the most recent clip takes Mhysa back to her Khaleesi days as Daenerys Targaryen is unceremoniously escorted "home" towards The Dothraki Sea.
The one minute and five second teaser clip focuses on Daenerys, who has been left behind by Drogon in an unknown land and is surrounded by Dothraki warriors at the end of season five. Now the clip shows her captured and walking with the Dothraki towards a city that is unmistakably Dothraki land as proven by the stone statues of horses.
Daenerys is seen looking up at the stone horse statues just outside Vaes Dothrak and a warrior on horseback tells the Great Khaleesi to "move her ass." We can already sense how regally Dany will be treated, considering she caused the death of one of the greatest Dothraki warriors-her husband Khal Drogo.
She is then taken to the center of Vaes Dothrak where she is welcomed by another horselord-most likely the Khal of the khalasar- with an actual "Welcome Home" greeting. Watch the clip below.
According to Entertainment Weekly, we will all have to wait before we will be able to see the full extent of Dany's scene because the short video clip is actually taken from the second episode of season six.
However, fans of the show who have not really read the books do not need to be worried too much about Dany's fate just yet because she was brought to Vaes Dothrak so it is possible-and we are calling on the old gods and the new on this-that the Great Khaleesi will not be executed and would receive an invitation to become a khaleen of the dosh khaleen instead.
As for Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Targaryen, she only says that Dany will face the unknown in season six.
"We're in uncharted territory, especially with Daenerys. The last time you saw her she was literally in an alien land. Everything was new and different," she said at the Los Angeles Game of Thrones season six red carpet premiere.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24.
