If you've seen a Fallout 4 recreation of the latest and greatest movie trailer, chances are, it came from creator UpIsNotJump. We've featured his videos before, as he's recreated trailers for Daredevil, Captain America: Civil War and more.
Now, he's back with his latest video, and it puts an apocalyptic spin on a trailer you've no doubt already seen upwards of 10 times.
We are, of course, talking about the recently-released trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Though the trailer only landed on the Web five days ago, UpIsNotJump has already crafted an excellent Fallout 4 rendition of it. That's an impressive turnaround time.
It's not a perfect recreation, by any means. You won't see any X-Wings or the Rebel Alliance's iconic secret hideout. Instead, UpIsNotJump uses elements unique to Fallout to craft a lookalike trailer that is instantly recognizable, yet still perfectly Fallout. Instead of Star Destroyers flying in front of the Death Star, the massive zeppelin piloted by the Brotherhood of Steel is put on display. Instead of the AT-AT walkers seen at the end of the official trailer, the trailer uses multiple versions of the game's iconic Liberty Prime mech to serve the same purpose.
However, that doesn't mean players won't see some familiar Star Wars imagery. Thanks to the power of mods, there are plenty of Stormtroopers to be seen. The trailer perfectly captures the essence and facial expressions of the various characters in the trailer, too. You can see Mon Mothma's disappointment as she bows her head, or the stalwart defiance of protagonist Jyn Erso. Even the dramatic final shot of the trailer is well remade here.
All in all, it's another solid piece of work from UpIsNotJump. You can check out the full video below.
