Apple Starts Selling Standalone Apple Watch Hermès Bands Later This Month: New Colors, $349 Starting Price

Apple Watch fans will soon be able to get the Hermès band as a standalone purchase in several new colors, at a starting price of $349.

Customers may choose from the Double Tour, Single Tour and Cuff collections of the Apple Watch Hermès bands separately, in colors that include Fauve, Feu, Blanc, Bleu Paon and Bleu Saphir.

The Double Tour collection only comes in a 38 mm version, while the Cuff only comes in 42 mm. The Single Tour collection comes in both versions with the exception of the colors Blanc and Bleu Paon, which comes only in a 38 mm variant.

Customers will also be able to purchase separately all of the original strap color options of the Hermès band for the Apple Watch, which include Fauve Barenia, Etain, Capucine, Bleu Jean, Noir, Feu and Blanc.

Additionally, customers can customize their Apple Watch with new bands in a range of colors, styles and materials that are also available for purchase even without the smartwatch from Apple. These will include the Sport Band, Woven Nylon, Milanese Loop, Classic Buckle, Leather Loop, Modern Buckle and Link Bracelet.

"Apple Watch Hermès is the culmination of a partnership based on parallel thinking, singular vision and mutual regard," says Apple. "It is a unique timepiece designed with both utility and beauty in mind. With leather straps handmade by Hermès artisans in France and an Hermès watch face reinterpreted by Apple designers in California, Apple Watch Hermès is a product of elegant, artful simplicity - the ultimate tool for modern life."

In terms of pricing, the Hermès bands have a starting price of $340 for the 38 mm and 42 mm versions in the Single Tour collection. The 42 mm version will include color options such as black, fire orange, deer brown and sapphire blue. Likewise, the 38 mm version features the same color options and adds peacock blue and white to the list.

The Double Tour collection is priced at $490 for both regular length and long strap versions. The regular versions are available in fire orange, deer brown, tin gray, sapphire blue, peacock blue and white options while the long strap edition is only available in deer brown.

Lastly, the 42 mm Cuff band is priced at $690 and is only offered in deer brown color option.

With Apple's latest announcement on the Apple Watch Hermès Bands as being sold separately and independently from the company's smartwatch, fans now have more ways to customize their wearable without having to purchase a new Apple Watch.

"Match the look of your Apple Watch to any outfit with an additional Hermès leather band," said Apple. "Available in three designs and multiple colors, these easily interchangeable bands quickly update your signature style."

The new editions will become available for purchase later this month, on April 19.
