Apple Watch Gallery Will Now Allow You To Mix And Match Cases, Bands And Faces

At the recent March 21 event of Apple, the company announced new pricing for the Apple Watch, taking down the price tag of the Apple Watch Sport from $349 to $299.

In addition, Apple announced new bands for the wearable device, with all the changes aiming for a boost in sales of the Apple Watch.

It seems that Apple's planned changes for the Apple Watch are not yet over, as the company introduced changes to the gallery of the wearable device's dedicated website.

The previous Apple Watch gallery only featured a scrolling catalog of different variations of the smartwatch. The new one, on the other hand, offers customization options which could help prospective customers in choosing the Apple Watch that they would want to have around their wrists.

When users visit the Apple Watch gallery, they are now given the option to scroll through the variants in terms of cases, bands and faces. Users can mix and match different kinds and colors of the components to hopefully arrive at a configuration that they would want to purchase.

The options for cases include silver aluminum, space gray, rose gold, gold, stainless steel and space black stainless steel, all in either 38-millimeter or 42-millimeter sizes.

The choices for bands include the newly announced woven nylon bands, which sell for $50 each, while the options for faces show the different looks that the Apple Watch can have while turned on.

The new gallery also allows users to go back to each option and make additional changes as they see fit.

However, while the mix and match gallery will be a huge help for users looking to purchase a new Apple Watch or to make tweaks on their own devices, it comes with a major flaw.

Upon users finding the perfect configuration for them, there is no way to directly purchase the chosen design straight from the gallery. To do so, users will have to exit the gallery and choose the Buy option on the Apple Watch page, wherein they would have to once again select the components that they want to purchase.
