This season of "Arrow" has consistently teased flash forward scenes that indicate that a major character will soon die on the series.
Now, a new trailer teases that we'll learn the identity of that mysterious person in the grave that Oliver and Felicity visited.
The team behind Green Arrow is falling apart, and this new promo not only shows that, but also announces that it's the "end of an era" for Oliver and friends. But what does that mean? The trailer ends in a hospital with a flatline on a monitor and someone announcing a time of death.
It looks like we'll finally get an answer to "Who dies on 'Arrow' this season?"
Team Green Arrow is already facing problems. Oliver and Felicity's breakup has left the team without its supergenius computer programmer, tracker and all-around "find the bad guys" girl. The trailer also hints that Oliver and John Diggle will end up at odds, thanks to a scene that shows Diggle pulling a gun on Oliver and telling him that he knows "where that Kevlar won't protect" the hero.
Meanwhile, Thea confronts Malcolm Merlyn in a fight to the death. And Damien Darhk sits in his cell, apparently gloating over something.
This all leads to a final confrontation and the major death teased all season. But don't expect the cast to give away any hints until that episode airs.
"I'm saying nothing," John Barrowman, who portrays Malcolm, said to Comic Book Resources. "You are going to have to watch. We all didn't know until recently. The storyline took us to a certain point and then all of a sudden, it was right in front of us on the page. We were all like, 'Wow.'"
There is one interesting thing to note about this trailer: at the end, someone says "time of death," but the next voice sounds different, like Laurel's. Is this some sort of hint? Or is it an Easter egg that has nothing to do with whoever ends up in the grave? Is "Arrow" trolling its fans?
We won't know for sure until the next episode of "Arrow" airs on April 6 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
