'Arrow' Executive Producer Posts Wedding Photo Of Oliver And Felicity

It seems that Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will finally walk down the aisle on this season of Arrow, at least according to a photo tweeted by the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

Guggenheim tweeted the photo with a comment that the image didn't come from a hallucination, alternate reality or dream sequence. This suggests that the wedding will happen soon on Arrow, possibly even before the season finale.

Also, as mentioned, it seems that both bride and groom walked down the aisle, suggesting that Felicity, previously bound to a wheelchair, gets completely healed. That's no surprise, considering that her fellow Palmer Tech employee Curtis Holt showed up at the end of last week's episode with tech that would give her the miracle she needed.

This also suggests that, although Felicity is at first upset when learning about Oliver's illegitimate son, William, she gets over it. Throughout their love affair, Felicity consistently forgave Oliver for bad behavior and a lot of lying, so what's one more lie, right?

"I think we all know Felicity's heart pretty well, and we know she tries to be as honest as possible all of the time," said Bett Rickards to TV Line. "I feel like that is something she respects in her friends and the people she surrounds herself with, and with that said, when she finds out this information she would have hope to have known, we can probably predict how she's going to react!"

Basically, that sounds like Felicity will get mad at Oliver for an episode or two, but the couple start making wedding plans shortly thereafter. That might also explain why Felicity did not wear her engagement ring in a flash-forward to a funeral shown in a previous episode: in that scene, she seemed pretty angry with Oliver. However, now, we know that anger won't last: does her forgiving Oliver have something to do with the mysterious grave?

Of course, it's likely that the wedding gets crashed by this season's big bad, Damien Dahrk, who wouldn't miss such an event for the world. That will make things potentially more exciting for viewers, and probably lead to the final battle between Team Arrow and Dahrk's "Ghosts."

Arrow airs on The CW on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST.
