Hot Smartphone Deals: 128 GB Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Now Just $469.99, Unlocked GSM + Verizon 4G LTE

The sleek Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is now available at a massive discount, priced at just $469.99 for the 128 GB unlocked version on eBay.

Samsung's latest Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge flagships are widely considered among the best smartphones currently on the market, and there's no denying that they aptly combine powerful hardware with great functionality and a stylish design.

The Galaxy S6 Edge from last year, however, is still a powerful device that moves fast, looks gorgeous and can handle virtually any task you throw at it. If you don't want to spend a small fortune on the new-generation Galaxy S7 Edge, perhaps the previous Edge model at a massive discount will spark your interest.

The 128 GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is now available for purchase at $469.99 on eBay, marking a whopping discount compared to its normal price. The model on sale here is the SM-G925V, which is the Verizon version, but it's also GSM unlocked.

This means that the Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925V will work with Verizon and all GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile, but will not work on Sprint's network.

The same deal was available earlier this month and it stirred a great deal of interest, which is probably why it's now back in place. As with the previous offer, this one is also comes in limited quantities only.

A discounted price for the highest-capacity version comes in handy, considering that the Galaxy S6 Edge doesn't support an expandable storage. Samsung re-introduced the popular microSD slot with its new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, but last year's flagships lacked the functionality. In other words, you're stuck with the storage configuration you chose to purchase, so the 128 GB variant is the best choice if you don't want to run out of storage, particularly if you plan on taking advantage of the handset's 4K video recording capabilities.

As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge rocks a 5.1-inch SAMOLED display with a crisp QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and features an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. Other highlight specs include a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS, a 5-megapixel frontal camera, a 2,600 mAh non-removable battery, wireless charging and more.

It may not be the latest flagship anymore, but it's definitely still powerful enough and at $469.99, it's a bargain. To see how it stacks up against Samsung's new curved-screen flagship, check out our Galaxy S7 Edge vs. Galaxy S6 Edge comparison.
