Automatron, the very first DLC for Fallout 4, is the first out of three upcoming add-ons to the massively popular title, with the rest entitled Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor.
It was previously revealed that the Automatron DLC will be released sometime within the month with a price tag of $10. The exact launch, however, is now known, so gamers should start to prepare for the DLC's arrival.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Fallout, the launch of the Automatron DLC for the Xbox One will be on the turn to March 22, at midnight Eastern in North America and midnight locally in Europe.
For the PlayStation 4, gamers can expect Automatron to also launch on the turn to March 22 at midnight locally in Europe and at 1:00 p.m. Eastern in North America.
Lastly, for Steam gamers, Automatron will also be unlocked at the turn to March 22 at midnight Eastern for North America, and midnight locally as well in European territories.
The information was also posted by Bethesda's Pete Hines through a tweet.
The story of Automatron revolves around robots that are attacking the Commonwealth, and players are tasked with dispatching the invaders and creating their own robots from the scraps. The robots were unleashed by the Mechanist, who made his first appearance in Fallout 3.
The next two DLC's for Fallout 4 will be launched over the next couple of months, with Wasteland Workshop to launch in April for $5 and Far Harbor to be released in May for $25.
Gamers can choose to purchase the Fallout 4 Season Pass to be able to set them up to receive all three DLCs with no additional purchases required. The Fallout 4 Season Pass carries a price tag of $49.99, but that amount has been discounted to $29.99 right before Automatron is set to launch.
