Fallout 4 Automatron DLC: Bethesda Introduces Ada, Your Customizable Robot Companion

Fans of the popular adventure-shooter Fallout 4 know quite well that you don't have to venture into the game's post-apocalyptic world all by yourself. Aside from being able to team up with 13 different followers in the game, players can also bring along their trusty animal buddy, Dogmeat, during missions.

Now, Fallout 4 players are set to receive a brand new companion in the form of Ada the Robot, which is included in the upcoming Automatron expansion.

Automatron, Wasteland Workshop And Far Harbor DLCs

Automatron is part of Bethesda's announced lineup of three downloadable contents for the game. It will be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game this coming Tuesday.

Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor, the two other DLCs for the game, will be available to gamers in April and May respectively.

According to Bethesda, the first of the three DLCs focuses on a new character known as The Mechanist, who has just released an army of evil robots on the inhabitants of the Commonwealth.

In order to build their very own companion robots, players would have to hunt down and defeat Mechanist's minions and use their parts. These companion robots are fully customizable, allowing players to adjust their limbs, body armor, paint schemes, abilities and even their voices.

The Automatron DLC also includes several new weapons, such as a lightning chain gun, which players can use once they reach level 15.

With the Wasteland Workshop expansion, players will receive more options for the workshop found in the game's settlements. It also adds an option that allows players to catch various creatures found in the wasteland.

The Far Harbor DLC, on the other hand, introduces another expansive map to Fallout 4. This grants players the ability to travel from Boston, Massachusetts to Maine.

All three Fallout 4 DLCs are available through the game's season pass, which has now increased in price from $29.99 to $49.99. This price jump was made to account for the size of the Far Harbor expansion as well as for the additional game content.
