Google has updated the YouTube Capture app for iOS 7, bringing to it several new features.
Google updated the YouTube Capture app to Version 2.0.0 on Wednesday, November 13, adding iOS 7-friendly user interface (UI) and new editing features for what is recorded. The easy to use editing features are targeted at vloggers who are looking to shift from Instagram and Vine.
The update also brings bug fixes and stability improvements.
"Create beautiful movies on the go with YouTube Capture 2.0. Start recording in a snap, then edit and share videos of any length right from your phone," notes the app description.
YouTube Capture app is a video camera app by Google and the update bring support for single sign-in for iOS apps. Users can also use the app directly and need not log into YouTube sharing.
YouTube Capture 2.0 brings support for pausing and resuming vide recording. Thanks to this feature users can record and edit several scenes before they are uploaded. The app primarily aims to send videos to YouTube, but it also supports sharing to Twitter and Facebook. Users can also save videos to their iPad or iPhone. Additionally, the new iOS 7 design also comes with a new icon.
However, YouTube for iOS is yet to be updated to iOS 7. The new features YouTube Capture 2.0.0 brings are as follows:
- Pause and resume recording
- Stitch together multiple clips into a seamless video
- Rearrange or trim individual clips
- Add a soundtrack from your music collection or Capture's expanded audio library
- Major bug fixes and stability improvements
- iOS7 compatibility improvements
