Moto X Pure Edition $100 Off At Motorola, Best Buy And Amazon

In December 2015, Amazon offered the 32 GB model of the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition with a $100 discount, taking down its price from $449.99 to $349.99. The offer ran for a limited time only, as Amazon looked to push out the smartphone as a possible gift for the holidays.

A new promo on the Moto X Pure Edition, this time on the 16 GB model, takes $100 off the price of the smartphone.

The discounted price of $299.99, from the previous price of $399.99, is available for customers that would purchase the smartphone directly from Motorola or from retailers Amazon and Best Buy.

Customers that would purchase the discounted Moto X Pure Edition directly from Motorola would be able to use the Moto Maker feature to customize the look of the smartphone. Among the customizable aspects of the smartphone are the colors of its front and frame, its back, and its accents. Customers can also request for an engraving at the back of the device and a personalized greeting whenever the smartphone is restarted.

For customers that are not looking for customizations, they can choose to purchase the black version of the smartphone from either Best Buy's online or physical stores. Purchasing the Moto X Pure Edition from Amazon, on the other hand, provides the white and bamboo version of the smartphone as an additional option to the black version.

The Moto X Pure Edition, compatible with all CDMA and GSM networks in the United States, is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 with 3 GB of RAM and an Adreno 418 GPU. The device has a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and expandable memory through a microSD card slot of up to 128 GB.

The smartphone also features TurboPower charging, which can charge it up for 10 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes, a water-repellent coating and an Android experience without any clutter from preloaded apps and software. The Moto X Pure Edition ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but the update to take the smartphone to Android 6.0 Marshmallow has already been released.
