HTC One M10 In White Leaks Online, Shows Samsung-Like Home Button

Even if HTC guarded its upcoming One M10 handset, information surfaced on Twitter and we got to see the latest flagship from the OEM in all its glory.

With the Mobile World Congress coming up, HTC joins the companies that (unwillingly) revealed details about their upcoming high-end smartphones. Especially the Galaxy S7 and LG G5 were subject to numerous leaks, revealing nearly every aspect of the two devices before their official debut.

HTC seems to wait it out, as the OEM reportedly wants to unveil the device on April 11, 2016, a good while after the MWC ends. The HTC One M10 will reportedly hit retail only in May. However, this did not slow down tipsters who want the world to know what the One M10 looks like.

Veteran tipster Evan Blass posted an image on Twitter of what is presumably the future One M10. If you follow Blass (@evleaks) on the microblogging platform, you may remember that a few weeks ago he released another image of HTC's latest phone. It's worthy of note that the recent photo is much clearer than the one from January and gives users a better idea of the handset's design.

What the image reveals is the Samsung-inspired physical home button, which should also act as a fingerprint sensor. On the front of the display, we see an earpiece above the screen and a hefty camera sensor (that is purported to be UltraPixel). The recent leaked image gives little extra info about One M10, but fans of white-colored smartphones should be happy with it.

Earlier leaks revealed that the handset packs a 5.2-inch AMOLED display that gets moving via an Adreno 530 GPU. The processing power comes from a Snapdragon 820 processor backed by 4 GB of RAM. Insiders hint that Asian markets might get a MediaTek-based chipset instead of a Snapdragon.

The rear camera is the same as on the Nexus 6P, which is excellent news for smartphone photographers. It is rumored that the standard storage space will be of 32 GB, with a microSD slot for even more space for audio, photo and video content.

Having the latest Android version out of the box will help keep the phone running smoothly and at great speed.

Reports indicate that the device could carry a name other than One M10, but it remains to be seen. We will let you know as soon as we get more details on the latest HTC flagship smartphone.
